I have the same problem. Username "fanfarian".
Gccg told me that there is already a username, and I have the wrong password. The password file is in "C:\.gccg\Metw\password", but its encrypted.

It's not against the ruling, the game needs those clarifications, but Not everyone has the time to read 113 Digests, the rules, the CRF, etc with all their contradictions and further corrections.
