I think there is even more value in resurrecting the ability to maintain and update the game, which a fan community is unable to do because nobody has adequate authority to pubish official errata or actually CHANGE the cards or the rules to make them more consistent and easier to follow.  That...

Hmm.. you're probably right. I haven't seen or heard of those before Dark Minions was around either. (I wasn't closely into the German scene in those days though.)

Perhaps Wormsbane would have been called Ringil, had the Germans not printed another Ringil by then?

I've put a lot of thought and research into this over the years. Right now I'm thinking that if anything, the community had best aim for a modest project, serving the most direct needs, mainly an unlimited edition of the Balrog, possibly some missing translations to German and Spanish, and *perhaps*...

Contains all but the color insert. Better copies of the rules are available at That's a matter of opinion. To me the best rulesbook...

Moved  Tips & Tricks : we're talking what to go play here, so I've moved this alongside the other playing tips. White Hand isn't only complex, it relies heavily on cards from the previous sets, so getting that White Hand box won't do you any good till you have a good number of other cards (m...

Re: Cards question: METW rares slightly faded?

I recently thougt about them and brought them out to look at and notice many of the rares seem to be slightly lighter in hue on the cardface but mainly the edge border area as if they are slightly faded.  Not every rare but many of them when compared with the non-rares.  Its not glaringly...
