I'd personally up these two a level in that ranking: Pass the Doors of Dol Guldur and The Iron Crown. The first because it is a non unique with a certain coolness around it, the latter because it is a promo, which still means it's been circulated less than the normal cards. This is especially true f...

*cough-balrogset-cough* *cough-dragons-cough* Over the whole line, MeCCG isn't expensive; it's considerably cheaper than it was when it was introduced. Today's games have instead gone up in price over the years, making ours truly affordable by comparison. In a wider comparison playing MeCCG doesn't...

Wigy wrote on the gccg-dev mailinglist that he's accidentally wiped the files area clean. He said he'd be restoring that shortly, so you're probably best of waiting for that.

Thanks for all the hard work on that, Josh! :) Note that although the hard drive crashed, only some parts of the operating system and system software were damaged (hence all the reinstalling). We're quite sure no data from the website, including this forum, was lost. For those wondering: yes, we do ...

Re: CoE Candidacy

Are you posting this list on behalf of the CoE, or is it your personal opinion? I am wondering as, upon reading the charter that empowers the CoE, I can't seem to get beyond (1). (2) Work on the draft of a possible new constitution for the CoE I would hope each candidate and member can act in that m...

If you'd use the region cards according to the official rules for them, you need multiple copies of a card. For the more popular regions used with a deck focusing on a tight area that can easily get up to four copies, as each company moving through region X on a given turn needs a copy of region car...

Doesn't look like any fixed version of iaxComm for Mac can be expected. Perhaps Idefisk is a better option? (Its free version doesn't seem to support the true GCCG integration we once envisioned, but folk can see about that if / when ever that reappears on the horizon.)

And those are also the places to pick from for offering it, should you decide to part with it after all :(.

Ah; I found what I was looking for. :)  [Note to self: don't search rules for " on guard ", as it is often written " on-guard " ;).] If all characters in a company leave play, the site goes to the location deck or discard pile, depending on its tapped status. If this happens during the movement...

The digest actually suggests the on-guard goes back to hand at the end of any movement/hazard phase when the site would be discarded or returned to location deck, not at the end of the very last one. Well, I think the rules contradict that. Auch, yes. I clearly read too quickly there. Pity / proble...

I recall that if there's no company left at a site at the end of all M/H phases, the on guard goes back to hand at that point already (and the site leaves the table). Looked it up :). It is in Van's (i.e. ICE's) very last digest, # 588. (Hmm.. thought it was in the CRF too somewhere, perhaps used po...

(I'm not sure what about Balrog player, I always played that he can't use this connection so his agents also can't) I don't think such a disctinction made it from the storyline into MeCCG. He's minion, so he gets to use the black gate. (I tried to check this: seems that CoE digests 10 and 62 confir...

In case it's still a bit confusing: for FW's minion agents count as characters for deckbuilding. You can put any such in your deck (directly or via pool), always as characters. You can then use (as in play) them as hazards or, only if their mind is low enough, as characters. Note the minion in minio...

Hi Kevin, welcome to MeCCG.net.

No, it differs per language.

We have the All About the Cards board over here for this sort of topic. I think with some browsing you'll will find most (all?) of this already covered. I moved this one alongside.
