Re: Dice Rolls!!!!

Rolls are made by the server, not the client. IIRC this was done as a precaution against cheating; because the client doesn't roll, there's no way to rig its rolling either. It also means that your own soft- or hardware cannot influence the roll in any way, nor can you (on average) receive more adva...

Each player plays one game per round. by the way I think when it comes to the next round the two best players should play against each other. In official tournament roules, wins count more than TP, isnt it? My understanding in this issue comes from soccer where wins are valuated higher than goals. ...

The [or] an ally bit seems to be specific to your Ringwraith. You can influence an ally away from a wizard or ringwraith follower, as far as I can tell. Perhaps they thought it would be a bit harsh if your opponent was to take the Black Horse from under your avatar? You can't take an item from any r...

Exactly!

A ringwraith follower is a ringwraith that is a follower, not just any follower of your ringwraith. You can find this in the MELE rules.

That dwarves does not drain the limit. Hmm.. it doesn't say that exactly. I think they drain the one character per turn limit normally. So you can play a non-dwarf and then dwarves, but not a non-dwarf after you've already played dwarves. I can't think of any reason to want to play characters in a ...

Back :)

I was thrown and kept out too (for about an hour?), but am back in now as are two others. Looks like one user wasn't affected at all, so I guess the server itself hasn't been down. Anyways, whatever disturbed us, it looks like the worst of it is over now. :)

If it's a gentleman's agreement, aren't there any options for other kinds of gentleman's agreements then?   Hmm.. have you been reading the news over the last year or two? There's been incident after incident over violations of copyrights and other IP rights and they don't exactly give me...

(8) A compromise had to be made in this situation: there are two hazard effects in play, one of which demands an attack at a certain time, the other of which demands that nothing happen.  Since both are hazard effects, it seemed in keeping with the spirit of the rules to give the hazard player...

The idea of a virtual card is that you don't create a new card, but only suggest a new text for an existing card. So "creation" wise this is just a text, or at its most graphical a new text box to glue onto your existing card. It's a gentleman's agreement that a card can do something other than it s...

Re: Legal expansions

Surely it would be fine to use those cards Sure you can use those. The reason they see so little use is that they are meant for very specific scenario's that haven't found acclaim / been distributed as widely as the main game. That is probably what thus far kept them out of GCCG-METW as well. I've ...

That's because the German company Queen Games printed inflationary numbers of cards when it was clear that the license was lost. Sorry, but that's complete bullocks. If they were low on MeCCG stock at that time, they would, for obvious reasons, have been happy about that. No way they would h...
