So Wolves are not "Animals" (capitalized), simply because the card doesn't say so, even though in fact we all know that wolves are "animals" (lower case)?  A paradox? I suppose the game simply has determined different categories for different creatures, and Spiders and Wolves have their own cat...

Are Wargs affected by "Full of Froth and Rage"?

Is the prowess of a Wargs hazard modified +2 by Full of Froth and Rage ?  Technically the Wargs card doesn't categorize wargs as "Animal" or "Spider" but "Wolves", and since the Wargs card doesn't use the word "Animal" or "Spider" unlike other cards one might argue that it shouldn't be modified...

I put the official map under glass inside a photo frame, and use some soldier figurines from another game to track the location of the companies.  It could be argued that this gives the game more of the "board-game" atmosphere which it deserves.  As an additional bonus, the framed map is a...

So you mean to say that hardly anyone actually has any serious suggestions about this?

Making MeCCG more fun/easier - how do YOU play the game?

I'm curious how other players play MeCCG from a practical point of view.  I sometimes use: - a map mounted on cardboard, plus pawns to designate the current location of various companies. - two D20s (or MTG life-counters) to keep track of current MPs. So how do you play the game?  Any tips...

Thanks for the replies, that's helpful!  And to check individual cards, people could check the rarity lists for each expansion, as found here:

Thanks again for the help!

Identifying which expansion a card belongs to?

What's the best way to figure out which expansions cards belong to?  Someone has offered me a lot of 1000 cards, but is not that familiar with the game and can't really identify which expansions the cards are from.  I'm mostly interested in Hero cards, rather than the cards from the Lidles...

Gloves

Wearing gloves while playing ... I haven't seen that before ... is that more common?  Please pardon my ignorance, but what's the reason for it?

Explanation of tournament scores

I enjoy reading tournament reports, it gives a sense of the flavour of the game!

A question however: What exactly is meant by the different tournament results for individual games, eg 7-0, 6-0, 5-1, 4-2, 3-3 etc?  Is this somehow related to the MPs collected?

I can gratefully report that Takao Suzuki has been kind enough to fix the dead links on his page, so the Challenge Deck files for NetMECCG are again available from the above link.

Challenge Decks in NetMeCCG format?

Are the challenge decks available in NetMeCCG format anywhere?
They are listed on this page but the links are dead:
