Hey Guests, I'm not sure if you're logged into MECCG.net or not by now, but if you are you will no doubt now know that here is a good place to start. Ask questions, read posts, etc, and by all means try to get online using the GCCG software as Silk has suggested. There's a thread in the General foru...

So far I've not really seen any hazard permanent events really damage a FW, mainly because an opponent usually spends too long getting them across from the sideboard. And even when they do, because a FW can have 2 VoM and 2 MT, they rarely stay around for longer than a turn!! Anyway, if a FW (other ...

A Marvels Told and Voices of Malice buster!

Here's one for the Will of Sauron purists. ;) Unfounded Whisperings Hazard Short Event Playable at any time during your opponents turn and does not count against the hazard limit. Targets and cancels the effects of a Marvels Told or Voices of Malice not played by a Wizard/Ringwraith or a character w...

Hi, Yep, a character can tap to play another item playable at the Under-deeps site. This has to be done immediately after the first item is played, similar to a free minor item at a normal site. In otherwords, there's no time to use cram to untap the same/another character to play the second item. I...

Ride Against the Enemy and Long Dark Reach

Both these cards are playable on a company moving through a :w:

My question, therefore, is are these attacks then keyed to the :w: or are they considered not keyed to anything?

Cheers

Narya revisited

Hi, I sent this to the list, but here's one for the forum too. I'm revisiting this card I'm afraid, so buckle your seatbelts. ;) Narya: Gandalf only. +4 prowess, +1 body, +2 direct influence for the rest of the turn. Immediately untap all unwounded characters in Gandalf's company. Gandalf makes a co...

Whilst Sauron is correct, I'll just add one further clarification to one of the points he mentioned: If you have 5 or more cards you can 1/2 the hazard limit against your opponent before his turn begins to bring over 1 hazard into your play deck. This has to be performed during the Untap Phase and c...

I'd certainly have to agree with Mark here. I'd ditch one of the outposts (3 is usually excessive even without Doors of Night) and one or two of the Power Builts (you've got plenty of hazard limit boosters anyway) for a couple of Two or Three Tribes, as it really is an excellent card for an orc stra...

Peter, thanks for the extra information. I'm sure that will help a lot of people. Just one question: For the binding of keys, at what point does the actual key get added to the following type: '/bind {magenta} End of Hazards'? Likewise, is it possible to bind keys in the manner of ctrl + a key, e.g....

I must admit, whilst I'm amazingly intrigued by your Return of the Faithless Stewards deck, this Red Hills deck is still the deck I'm most impressed with. The reason being that unless one can hit this deck on the first turn out of Moria, it is otherwise almost impossible to touch - maybe with the ex...

Hi,

As far as I'm aware (and I'm pretty aware on this one ;)), the only way to get rid of unwanted items is to store them at a haven. One cannot simply discard items.

GCCG key commands

Just to help new players on GCCG, from memory here are a few of the useful key commands for playing MECCG. I'm not logged in at the moment so I can't check them to verify they're correct. Other players feel free to add to the list anything I've forgotten. Bear in mind that, if you're stuck, right cl...

Nice deck kris. I played against karmi a while back and he had a similar deck to this. I take it one of your starting minor items would have to be an Elf-stone and the other a Cram? One might also think about adding the Wood Elves, if you're using Elves and up in the North most of the time anyway. I...
