To be accurate: I forgot about another game I lost. It was against MuaDib playing The Red Hills. 36-38 in the end. :-/
I wish I had drawn that Guarded Haven earlier. ;-D

Hmmm, tough descision indeed. Maybe drop 2 half creatures for one full-time killer (Itangast ahunt + Gandalf or Precious or Lady for Itangast?).

Re: [Fw Pallando vs. Minion] Harvester of Sorrows

I think it might compete with Peregrin's deck for the cheeziest pallando deck :D Tee-hee. Lets call it a tie. :D I really like your anti-Wolfie-Hog technique! Must copy that for decks where its possible.  :D Are you doing fine with only 1 Twilight? That makes some Vigilances easy cancleable. B...

Hey! Thanks for replies! Pallandos Hood isnt a bad idea. I used it at german nats (combined also with Gifts as Given of Old from discard). But for Nations Cup I dropped the Hood for another Tempering Friendship. The reason was freeing some space in sideboard for more hazards. And even so, Trossel ca...

[Fallen Pallando] Purple Hills reloaded

Hi, this deck is a pretty cheezy Fallen Pallando deck. It made me win German and Suisse Nats 2008 and performed quite well in the 2009er Nations Cup. Until today it won 10/11 games (lost one vs Trossel the Dunk-machine). [starting] Eradan, Pon-ora-Pon, Threlin, Firiel Blazon of the Eye, Open to the ...

I really like the idea of a summary like a "guide to influence" or something. We should make such a thread sticky. But this thread (confirmed by rules gurus...) caused a lot of confusion in yesterdays Nations Cup final match...  :?

Thanks Konrad to make clear what is in the rules books anyway.

You have to regard the word normally in the cards text. CRF Normal Normal means as written on the card, not considering other card's effects. Note that this definition only applies to effects refering to card texts. For example: Lets say all the cards you mentioned are in play. My Precious moves ( n...

*sigh*

Seems like the CRF conclusions are contradictory here. To me it looks like they didnt use the word "play" in the LDR "clarification" in the sense they meant it in the "playing a card" quote. Looks like there is some clarification needed.  :?

When you defeat all of the strikes from a creature [...] the creature's card is placed in your MP pile. This is from the Lidless Eye rules book. So I dont see a reason why one should not receive the marshalling points of a defeated creature which attacked due to LDR. Playing a card is the process o...
