Quote the card text helps to find out!   Im not a rules guy but I`d say the text of the cards are pretty obvious. Ringbearer is totally right in all he said but reading the card closely means to me Wizards Myrmidon (if a half-orc) needs 2 points of influence to control. edit: nice trick b...

Welcome back David,

actually there are players in NYC (the world championships 2007 were held in NYC, too). Apart from that you might want to check out the online version, to watch people play and play some tutorial games. Just follow the link in my signature and install gccg.

Nice deck. Are 3 Fireworks enough without Smoke Rings? How did the deck perform at worlds? Consider to pack The Arkenstone in SB. Easy playable in Moria (with the help of so many Ents) and 5 MP late game are always welcome. To manage the corruption at the council you could pack A friend or 3 or even...

Annoation 10:
If more than one action is required to be the first action declared in a chain of effects, the player whose turn it is chooses the order in which they are declared. No other actions may be declared in this follow-up chain until the multiple required actions have been declared.

Such a [on-guard] card does count against the hazard limit for the company it is placed on. The card will remain on that site until one of the following occurs: · The company decides to face the site's automatic-attack. If the on-guard card is a hazard creature keyed to the company's site or a haza...

AFAIK the creature must be revealed when you declare to enter the site.

It has a second attack even if the opponent reveals nothing. Opponent might even choose the second (not-existing) attack to protect his forewarned for his own use.

Note that if you have more than one characters in the company and the attack has more than one strike you have to check the creatures body for each strike you would normally face.

What the rules say: When one of your agents attacks it is considered to be the attacker and it has one strike unless modified. Combat with an agent is handled like any other combat with the following exceptions:    * The prowess for each of the agent's strikes is modified by a roll (2D6)-a...

Some thoughts: 1) Put the dwarven faction to SB as you will need it late game (when storing the Book) 2) Put Safe from the shadow to SB so you can play the combo in your lst turn. 3) Use only 4 hobbits (Merry out) to make some GI free. Call of home really sucks with hobbits. And 2 hobbit-only compan...

These decks are pretty tight and set their main focus to play a lot of things per turn in the eriador region with several companies and hopefully call the council in round 3! Depending on how serious the organizers take their assignement its in most tournaments possible not to face certain opponents in round 1 (where opponents are picked randomly). But in later rounds you could face each other due to the tournament points you both might have. But in bigger tournaments li...

Its up to the tournament organizers whether they want to allow proxies or not. As far as I know proxies are not allowed at the World Championships for example. At the Lure tournament proxies are allowed but they have to be in a good fashion (like colour prints). In Germany we had a long discussion b...
