Thumbs up for this project. The newsletter was very interesting to read.  I enjoyed all articles, especially "gollum's grotto" and "play of the month". Only negative thing has to do with layout. It's quite annoing jumping over pictures while reading, like at page 3. Keep up the good work! -Tomi

Re: Refuge

Some questions about Refuge: Hi Let's try some logic and common sense with this problem. 1)Can I discard an Elf creature instead of an Elf character? Playable only if you discard an Elf from your hand To me it doesn't say anything about charcters, so Elf lord or some ally should do fine. 2)Is the F...

Thanks to Mikko for organisation and taxidriving   The event was fun even though I couldn't come in time to play the qualifiers and had to leave early and so couldn't finish the sealed. I took few pics from he event. The quality isn't too good, but her they are anyway http://i2.photobucke...

Well I watched Conan the Destroyer a while ago. It's funny to see the Governor of California punching horses and camels. That movie also has so little talking that someone could mistake for silent movie  A really good movie for beerdrinking night. Laughs are guaranteed. I haven't seen the newe...

Itangast at home and Scorba at home are nice in a corruption-deck. I would remove 1 ambusher and 1 Weariness of heart to make room for them. Also I would change the other WoH for a lure of senses.

Ok, thanks for quick answer. Even though it doesn't make any sense thematically.

Ringwraiths and manifestations

Hi Can my opponent play a hazard manifestation of my ringwraith if my ringwraith is returned to my hand because of bodycheck? IMHO not, because in the rules it says he can't play the same ringwraith or the same ringwraith follower when this happens. Also it doesn't say anywhere that ringwraith would...

Actually only 6 strikes, since your opponent can choose the order of the strike/prowress boosters. So PoW would of course first double the strikes to 4, then CD and tMID would give it one strikes more each.

Correct me if I went wrong somewhere

Me too. If the finnish army lets me go to the worlds. Just my typical luck to have to go to army just when the worlds are organised here :(

I've played the game few times. I think it's fun, though it's pretty simple. One of the very first rpg's I've ever played. Never tried the expansions. What new they bring to the original gameset?

Ringwraith followers

Can a ringwraith follower use ancient secrets? Can I tap a ringwraith follower to bring cards from sideboard? In MELE rulesbook it says that ringwraith followers' special abilities cannot be used. Does this mean abilities that state 'as your ringwraith'? I mean, does khamul still lower his elf-oppon...

And remember, don't use the crappy region cards. It's a pain in the ass to use them. Instead, there's a great map downloadable from the dutch council site.

I wouldn't go changing river. Right now it's one of the very few hazards that can really do any harm to the machominions in dragonlands (or anywhere else ;) ). Also, would you really use Legolas in a competitive deck even if rivers were UEP'd? Gandalf is quite usable in he's current form, though not...
