MEDM hero resource canceling hazards and minion versions

I have a question about the MEDM hazards:
Earth-tremors,
The Reach of Ulmo and the like that prevent
and/or cancel resource effects.

For example, Earth-tremors prevent the playing of Great Road.

Does Earth-tremors prevent the playing of Iron Road too?
Will The Reach of Ulmo cancel a Hidden Ways?

I like to know if such interpretations are a game-by-game
basis or something else.

Such things are always on a per card basis. They work on exactly those cards they mention, not on others no matter how similar (unless an erratum has added that extra card, of course, but no such errata come to my mind).

MeCCG is very strict but clear in that aspect. See for example rulings passed that clarify that Strider cannot do anything that is Aragorn only and Stinker cannot satisfy a condition that needs Gollum.
