Cloudless Day

Cloudless Day
Long-Event

Environment.  Playable only if Gates of Morning is in play.  Whenever a company faces a hazard creature attack, the defender may choose which characters in the company will be the targets of the attack's strikes (regardless of tapped status, wounded status, and the normal abilities of the attack).

Does this mean that you can assign multiple strikes from 1 attack to the same defending character?

Thanks,
Bob

Another question about Cloudless Day.  If Cloudless Day is in play with Gates of Morning, and my opponent removes Gates of Morning via Twilight, is Cloudless Day removed immediately, or does it stay in play until my next long-event phase?

And yet another question...  since there is no restriction on duplicating this card, would there ever be any reason to play more than 1 at a time?

Gates of Morning is only condition of playing the Cloudless Day, as it says Cludless Day's text. Effects of this card does not depend on GoM and CD will not be discarded only because GoM is discarded.

Effects of multiple copies of Cloudless Day are not cumultative. Two reasons to play another copy of this card:
- better protection of its effects against Twilight,
- less cards on hand (increased drawing during reconciling of hand).
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.
