Khamul Unleashed -- Cooler Than Previously Anticipated

Khamul Unleashed can be duplicated on an attack.

Get all three together and that's a staggering -9 to prowess against any attack.

Combine that with stuff like bitter cold and morgul blades and he won't be too shabby as far as active RWs go. :)

Also quite handy if a buffed-up Elf company comes to CvCC you. :)

There is a small problem in CvCC. There is no attack prowess, so I doubt you can play it when defending.

From the CvCC tutorial in the Rules Forum:
Cards that affect the attack include cards that change the prowess or body of the attack such as Wizard's Flame, and Black Arrow, and cards that change strike assignment such as Many Foes He Fought.

now the main problems for a good Khamul deck are cancellers, movement and rivers...

Not if you're dedicating Khamul to resource gathering in Fell Rider rather than CvCC.  That means the only problems are movement and rivers. :)

Khamul Unleashed cannot be played in CvCC for the prowess effect when Khamul is the attacker. If he is the attacker he assigns strikes, which is arguably the more useful effect anyway.

Anyway, it's not Khamul Unleashed which sucks, it's Khamul the Ringwraith and active Ringwraiths in general.  You will find that with all the support needed to get your avatar out and about and able to do things during the site phase, you will at best have space for one KU.
