Yes, but you just listed 14 cards. 3 Elf Lords, 3 Chills, 3 Travelers, and 5 Maia. I can think of a few 14-card hazard portions that become just as terrifying.

Such as?

Those hazards cover a wide variety of common things: :w: :w:, :s:, :R:, :F:, not including the extra keyability the Maia gain when played after dwarves and the other areas the dwarves themselves can hit.

The only real soft spot is :B: and :b: which shouldn't be too hard to cover, e.g. Sellswords.

No, the soft-spot is :s:, :S:, :d:, :D:, and underdeeps in general.

If all of your creatures are useless against someone, then your deck may be very powerful against certain decks, but not against others. That's the beauty of the meta-game. If enough people start playing Down Down and Deeper Shadow etc. to eliminate the threat of Free Peoples hazard strats while up north, then you'll see people moving back to DoN / Orcs (which practically tore me to shreds at US Nats) or even Dragons.

Well, we're only talking 14 cards here. There's 16 more slots to cover the soft spots.
