Sealed deck tutorial anyone?

Post by Jeek » Wed Sep 20, 2006 6:20 pm

Anyone interested in doing a sealed deck tutorial? I don't want to just jump in a game never having played before and take forever. I usually get home from work around 8 PM pacific time, I live in California.

Well this is it. Tell me if I should add/correct something (including my poor english)

1.
Start with command:
/sealed xx.xx (xx.xx is the amount of virtual bucks - usually 21.50). It creates alternative profile yourname-sealed with xx.xx$ to spend.

2.
Press ctrl+p - a window of virtual shop appears; right click to preview available options.Ctrl+p or Esc to close the window.

3.
Press ctrl+b - A window with cards appear - the cards you have bought are highlighted, but...

4.
...when you type /select have -  the window shows only those cards

5.Type /newdeck anyname - it opens blank window for your new deck

6.
Right click on it and add all sites of your alignment, you can also add some havens.

7. Due the lack of cards there are changes to the deck construction: 25/25 resources/hazards, 10 creatures minimum, 20 (or 18)MP to call the council.

8. Deck building and play does not differ from normal game. Don't forget to add all sites of your alignment!

9. When game ends and you are back in main window, type /sealed end - you get back to normal profile with money and cards you had in alternative one.

10. There is a gentelman agreement that winner gives back some money to the loser, so he can still play sealed games. This is xx.xx-10$ (see point 1) usually 11.50$. You can make it by typing /give losername xx.xx

Thanks, its very helpful. I was actually looking for a game with someone who didnt mind me taking a while to figure things out though. I havent had a lot of time either, might not bother untill my challenge decks get in.
