Crap_Deck

Post by Majagua_the_Necromancer » Fri Mar 02, 2007 3:42 pm

hello to all,

well, in my local city we´re planning to play a crap deck tourney.  We want to play with both RW and wizard decks.  Is this possible, what other rules could be made to make the tournament possible.
New rules we have applied are:

No resources or hazards involved in the under-deeps can be used in any deck.
Also, we are thinking in not using any wizards or RW in the deck (only characters, now that a Wizard coulb be more powerful in these types of decks than a RW).

Any suggestions anyone?

My guess is that since hero is generally more powerful than minion in sealed, this format would make hero even more superior.  Probably it's best to stick to one alignment only.

However, I've never participated in such a tournament....  Does anyone have any experience with this format?

It is a nice format and you`ll forced to play cards you never thought about.

This can have some very interesting side-effects. And maybe you discover a strength in cards you never imagined.

In my oppinion, one can always contruct a decent hero-sealed-deck, but I've often been in the situation when playing minion sealed to not even get enough points in my deck to call the council before my deck cycled once...

Therefore, I think minion-crap-sealed would be another level of crap-style...

It can be fun from time to time, but can get really boring if no one gets anything on the table (which could prove quite disppointing...)
