Hi Paul,
I am currently overseas until January but am based in Adelaide. Playing in real person wouldnt be an option, but if you get connected on GCCG it would be handy to have someone in a similar time zone to play against!
Cheers,
Adrian

Thanks Adrian

Are there many of us poor Aussies still left playing?

Not many I fear! GCCG seems to be the best way to get a game. Down here there are a couple of guys I introduced to the game who play occasionally. I also heard from a guy on the sunshine coast last year who had a group but I havent come across him online. I probably have his e-mail somewhere, so I will have a look.

Hey Paul,
We played many times in the past but i have now moved to victoria. Perhaps we could use Netmccg to play at some point.
I will send you a PM perhaps.

I was looking at this site as i am putting my collection back in order. After 4 years of not being touched it is well mixed up. I think i might need help to put it back togethor.

Regards
Brent.

Hi all

Can't say I am a current player, though I played a bit "back in the day" - lost interest a bit with Lidless Eye then drifted on to other stuff.  Luckily, kept my cards, and am hoping to interest the kids who are getting into Tolkien and old enough to play.

I am about 20 cards away from a full set of METW, then declining completion percentage for each subsequent set (17 Dragons to go, 35 Minions etc).  I have Balrog though, and all of the Strategy Guides (which I thought were really good - especially the card summaries).

It's a shame ICE lost the licence (and their company, was just getting into Cities of Doom when they folded, and felt sorry the mooted faction combat expansion for MECCG never eventuated).

Anyway, just wanted to say hi to all (and especially fellow Aussies) and will post from time to time.

Roll on an Aussie rep for Council of Elrond  :o

Hi Tony,
You could always check out my optional faction combat rules here:
http://www.meccg.net/dforum/viewtopic.php?p=13186#13186

I havent played with them much due to lack of time but they provide an option for faction combat without needing a new expansion.
So that's where that southerner is hiding...He looks more than half like a goblin.

So, is anyone planning on attending Cancon in January 2007?
