Besides the obvious Ebay, there are a couple. The easiest way is to check Chris Cable's trading site:
http://www.meccg.net/trading/
and then clicking sale center at the top. A good # of people on the 'sale' list run stores of sorts, a few still having sealed cards. A think you need to click on the "sets for sale" link though to get a list of sealed product. Just go to the sale page @ Chris's, then clicking the link titled "Check out the NEW Sets for Sale page too!". From there go through all the sellers, a # of them have sealed stuff in various langauges...

Damn...if cards are worth what dumb people are willing to pay for, I'll start selling my cards!Muad'Dib wrote:Cards are worth exactly how much somebody paid..collectible card game = materials + passion + emotional commitment.Gorrath wrote:Someone just bought a MEAS set for 400.00$US on EBAY.
That's just plain stupid!
If you want to complain, look at MTG prices..

I just saw an "Emerald of the Mariner" ending at 15.50$US

IT'S A CARD FROM "THE DRAGONS"!!!!! LoL
You can get a booster box of that set for 10.98$ in buy it now and there was tons of unsold factory set(with 2 emerald of the mariner) in the last few weeks for 40.00$ in buy it now.

If he is the one i know ... he's someone who's collecting that particular card in infinite number, that's why u can see that happening tbadiuk wrote:On top of that, the buyer (from Italy) will have to pay $11 shipping for a total of $26? Wow...

mm75
PS: shipping to Italy for only a single card is NOT 15$
Ok, maybe that's the reason....but what about the second highest bidder??!!melkor_morgoth75 wrote:If he is the one i know ... he's someone who's collecting that particular card in infinite number, that's why u can see that happening tbadiuk wrote:On top of that, the buyer (from Italy) will have to pay $11 shipping for a total of $26? I just bought a farmer maggot on ebay for $40. Yes that's sick, here's my justifications:
1. There were two available for $40, and one sold away in a few days, so I grabbed the second one
2. I'm from Switzerland and the USD is VERY low. So the 22 Euro on eaglecard would not be much less than this (even though the Euro is low too), if Farmer Maggot WAS available there.
3. I at least got free shipping from the seller. :P
4. It was the last R1 I really needed (Nurniags, Leucaruth and Daelomin seem to be mainly for the collector).

Ok, so what about today? How do the prices compare today as they have done years ago when the game was still relatively hot.... and then out of print. These things drove the prices waaaaay up.
Where do we stand today? Is the game still very much alive and well? From the lack of postings here.... I would say the game's tiem has passed for all except the casual reminescence game or the collector....
I am both... I worked for ICE back in the day and have recently gotten back into playing. As all of you know who follow the game closely.... you can get a lot fo stuff still very cheap in the US... Lidless Eye and against th eshadow are available overseas for a fair price and then there is the ever elusive Balrog set.... I still kick myself every time I think of how I passed up a case of them waaaay back when....
So.... what are proces like today?
