Hi all,
I'm trying to find a way to get my spare commons and uncommons to a good home. I have lots of spare cards from most of the sets taking up space in my basement and waiting for a flood.
Has anyone tried selling common or uncommon sets? do such sets get any money?
It would be a crime to add them to a landfill. Anyone know of anybody who has use for such cards? I know a group in the Philipines was once looking for cards, but I don't think they are around any longer.
ideas for getting rid of spare commons and uncommons

Around here (Netherlands) the council redistributes spare commons (and occasional uncommons and fixed that get thrown in). They are used to get new players up to speed quickly and handed out at conventions and such as advertising "flyers" for the game.
From time to time there are also people looking to make demonstration decks out of them, though the need for such seems to be small. They have a long life as handing out complete free decks doesn't seem to be effective in most cases anyway; getting into MeCCG requires some commitment from the side of the new player and receiving a deck doesn't help create such. If on the other hand the commitment is there, forking over the few $$ for a deck isn't the problem.
Sure, you can try selling them too. They don't make much, but there seem to be people looking for them on occassion.

I actually need quite a few from MELE. If you're willing to pass it along, I'll be happy to compensate your postage by card or cash.
