Where to link MeCCG items posted on eBay?

Post by CorPse » Fri Jul 25, 2008 3:39 am

Hey gang,

I took the time to read the FAQ, so I know that items for auction, etc., may not be linked here in the Trading Forum. The FAQ says there are lots of other places where one might list that sort of thing...

It also mentions Chris Cable's excellent site (and I have sent him an email w/ my info), but I'm selling some Guides and Companions and just wanted to know what other sites there are out there are (that might still be active) where I might post the information?

It looks like there are fewer MeCCG sites around than when the FAQ was written...

Any and all information appreciated!

We don't have a place for that. There is no point: eBay has its own excellent search.

Fair enough, but I was actually hoping to find other sites where I might post the link. As far as I can tell this is the only meccg forum with significant traffic. (And you guys deserve a great deal of credit for keeping it going!)

I wish we could post Ebay links.  There is an auction for a box of MEAS currently @ $281 that I wanted to post for all to just see and "oooh" and "aaaah" at.  I'm not sure if I wanted to vent at the crazy prices of the MEAS box (can't afford to buy it), or to rejoice that I have a complete MEAS set already.

In any case, I understand not wanting "dead links" 6+ months down the road but it does stifle some discussion unfortunately.

Food for thought...

Ted
