books, maps and question about stores

Post by DonAldo » Mon May 18, 2009 8:06 pm

Aaand another one. OR actually several smaller questions.

Other than Gwaihir's great store and eBay, are there any other places to trade? I know of Chris' MECCG Trade Page, but is that one still running? The dates don't have any year next to them, but seeing how this year didn't reach June so far, I assume this is from '08....

The reason I ask is not for cards per se (I will buy my cards from Gwaihir, cheaper than eBay prices from two years ago :P), but I was going to get the Wizards Companion (Which I also had and which also was stolen. I still don't understand how I could have missed that book being gone!) from Gwaihir - and I'd love to own all the other books. Are there still people out there who sell them? Thorondor has a few of them on his listing on Chris' page, but so far he hasn't replied to my mail from a week ago.

Same goes for the maps. I'd really love to have one of those nice maps, so I can put it in a frame and use it for play. I own a good laser printer, but can't print in colour. :/

Thanks!

For gameplay I recommend this map , because it shows all legal movement between regions AND also underdeeps AND which sites are in which regions.

I've already downloaded & printed that one, but I still want one of the nice colour maps they had in the olden days. ;D
Especially since we're going to play a lot of vanilla METW (with some TD in it, maybe), so we don't even need most of the sites that have literally been stuffed into this one. :)

It's the best map for the game (I think)!!

Enjoy.
