Unless a wose character is in the company, only playable after successfull play of a Wose faction or a rune item (character need not tap to receive this item). Discard this item to defeat all strikes against bearer keyed to Wilderness or Ruins & Lairs for the rest of the turn. Bearer makes a body check modified by -1 (wound if he fails, eliminate if already wounded).
Asfaloth: (hero) horse ally. 1 MP. 3/8 2 mind.
Unique. Playable at any non-haven non Dark-hold site in Eriador, on a character with home site Rivendell or Grey Havens. Tap Asfaloth to cancel a strike from a nazgul attack. If controller of Asfaloth is the only character in the company, he may move three more (non coastal) regions when moving to a site where another company is present. Asfaloth counts as character for the purpose of corruption.

Each company moving through Fangorn must make a roll (unless it controls an Ent ally), subtract one for each character and each Dwarf/Orc in the company: if the result <5 the company faces an attack: awakened plant 3@12.
Additionally, each player may discard one awakened plant creature from hand to take one awakened plant creature from discard pile into hand during the end-of-turn phase. Any awakened plant creature may be played keyed to Fangorn and does not count against the hazard limit. Cannot be duplicated.
