I've just uploaded a new accepted list. The generator can now cope with most and tags, but not with tags in the name of a proposal (problem with the phpBB parser which does not allow tags in a tag). Also I've limited the categories to the first category of a proposal for now. Multiline errata are also implemented btw.

Updated. Quite a few errata now. Also fixed a little scalability bug: it didn't check the second page of the forum.

Mod note: For clarity I've separated these posts from the Accepted UEP List and subsequently closed the Accepted UEP List and UEP template to prevent cluttering of posts. Feel free to continue adding comments here regarding the accepted list. PM me if you have any issues with this.
Thanks, Jambo.

This is a more general question:

do you guys plan to make UEP lists on a yearly basis (i.e. "These ones are accepted this year; let's see who likes them and publish a new list in 12 months"), or is just constantly changing. I feel like if you actually want to use these, rather than just talk about them, it'd be best to move more incrementally -- perhaps freezing the list and holding a few tourneys under it.

Whaddaya think?

Hmm, it's a good question Mark and to be honest I'm not really sure on the answer (at least not yet). I've had a couple of games on GCCG using the UEPs and they've been very rewarding experiences. For those that don't use them, I'd highly recommend trying them out. But I guess it all depends on the person you're playing against - some like and want to play using the accepted UEPs, others don't want anything to do with them (mainly out of an understandably cautious suspicion through not knowing them I think) and some have never heard of UEPs.

In their current form (i.e. as modest changes to enhance the game or correct glaring mistakes) I'm not sure there'll be any need for yearly versions or updates so to speak. Over the last few months it's quite apparent that new UEPs aren't popping up with such regularity and it's possibly an good indication that people are quite content with the modest list created to date. This seems to give the message that most of us really don't want to change the game that much - which IMO is extremely encouraging!

Personally, I'd simply like to see the accepted UEPs we've got here get more milage and run-outs by people. They really do add massively to the game. My active Khamul deck versus Adrian's Hero deck was a superbly enjoyable game and I think some of the UEPs have done a lot to encourage more varied strategies. I mean, who ever plays active Ringwraith decks (other than your Akky deck)? Creature of the Older World too hard to obtain, Elf Lords keyable to :s:, Khamul useless. It's generally Hoarmy, Hoarmy, Hoarmy all the boring way...

:D

Try playing Minion vs Minion CVCC (using Prone to Violence) with Dwar. There's nothing quite like watching Ufthak and Gorbag squeal in terror as a couple of Lieuys and troll bros beat down on them at Mr Gundabad.

Best counter I've found for Hoarmy so far (other than perhaps playing him yourself or playing hog...)

Yeah, but that's a counter for minion versus minion games involving Hoarmy, which are exceedingly rare on GCCG. It's the Hoarmy infestation in every Ringwraith minion versus hero game that bugs me, something that I'm guilty of too!
