Hamburger Scenario - Tournament Points

Post by Fangorn » Sat Mar 28, 2009 10:09 pm

Tournament Points for Hamburger Scenario are the following.
There are 4 different classes of scores for a player:
A) loosing due to MPs and no scenario fulfilled. => 1 tournamentpoint
B) loosing due to MPs and a scenario fulfilled. => 2 tournamentpoints
C) winning due to MPs and no scenario fulfilled. => 3 tournamentpoints
D) winning due to MPs and a scenarion fulfilled. => 12, 8, 5, 3 tournamentpoints
I think TPs for case B (loss and a scenario fulfilled) are not enough : the reward must be higher.
It's a scenario tournament, so fulfilling a scenario must prevail over the win.

So in my opinion, reward should be :
A) loss and no scenario => 1 TP
B) loss and a scenario => 5 TPs
C) win and no scenario => 3 TPs
D) win and a scenario => 12, 8, 5, 3 TPs
Hrum, Hoom ! Do not be hasty, that is my motto.

yeah but it can always happen that you play the same scenario, right? so when you bounce, or your opponent plays key resources first, you'd be (almost) automatically lost, so I suppose it would be fair to have an equal amount of TP's for losing on mp/with scenario and vice versa. Plus, the odd situation would arrise where you'd get more TP's for losing your 3rd/4th game than your opponent for winning it, should it be his 3rd/4th win  :?

The point you want to make is that focussing on scenario is more important than focussing on mp's, but with the reward for D it is impossible to win a tourney on mp's anyway, so is there a need to promote it? but it does make sense to reward B a bit more, indeed.
