This may be a stupid question, but are all the challenge decks on GCCG ?

Yes, you can import all 14 of them by following the menus after you hit 'ctrl' + 'i'.  To get the original 10, simply go to the challenge decks menu.  To get one of the new 4, follow through the menu options 'contrib' & 'zara', then pick the deck from that list.  All four new challenge decks are listed with a :c: symbol at the start of the name.

You will need to update your client in order to get the four new decks.

If you have any difficulties, just let me know and I'll email you a copy of the file.

If you haven't updated already somewhere in last four (or so) weeks.

Wacho reports this update isn't available for Mac users yet. So, especially for them it's good to know you can now also download the decks here from the forum.

K: Lord of Rings (Ren, with Doors of Night and auto-attack enhancement hazards)
L: Wolves! (Uvatha, with company-splitting hazards)
M: The Fell Magician (Akhorahil, with Men and Giant hazards)
N: Smoke on the Water (Khamul, with River-type hazards)

One player has contacted me privately to ask whether he can have an opponent and play his first game on Friday; he will be away for a week starting Saturday.  I'd like to maintain his anonymity for now and simply ask: is anyone who already signed up willing to play on Friday?

(Thanks for putting up the links, Wim!)

Are there any more formal play tips for the new Challenge decks like there are for the old ones?

Note that I just updated the Ren deck to give it some backup characters.  The old version had none.  Marcos (and all those who later play the Ren deck): please be sure to download your deck from meccg.net before you play!

Also note that I will not participate in this tournament unless someone else joins or drops out.  Brian Min (Sauron), just signed up.

I already feel sorry for Stefan when he has to use the deck he so soundly beat.

Did I ever say that Saruman SUCKS ???

He really doesn't know how to use dices...and when playing against a corruption strategy, this can't lead to any good...

Man, did I got my ass wiped....
