Gandalf vs Gandalf
Can't we make other pairings? There are lots of people who could step in. IIRC the Challenge Deck are constructed to play against each other but not against them selves.Jaded 1
Tegarend 0
Baduila 0
Logain 0
Beornd 0
Sauron the Great 0

That's not correct. Are you quoting round one results perhaps?GOGG wrote:Can't we make other pairings? There are lots of people who could step in.
I don't know if it really matters much. The game will be different, but not necessarily unfair. That said, I'm of the sort that takes clashing fixed sets in sealed as an interesting fresh challenge too.

Personally, I'm more worried about Bert's situation. Surely he wil not be forced to forfeit a round because the previous round ran days late - with which he had nothing to do?

In this third round the D2 Radagast deck found a deck it could beat at last: the Adûnaphel deck.

Probably best just to avoid Beornd as an opponent
(No offence!)
Sly Southerner (Adrian) has dropped out of the tournament due to lack of time. I'm going to award his opponent a 6-TP bye. The further question is: how should we deal with the 4th round, now that only 15 players are available? I'm willing to take Adrian's spot, but that's probably not fair to his would-be opponent, so here's what I propose: Adrian's would-be 4th-round opponent will receive a 5-TP bye, and will be invited to play me as well, just for fun, so that he doesn't feel left out.
Sound fair?
