Isn't one round limited to one week, normally?

I hoped to play early this round, but I must say I will be absent from thursday to thursday cause of a vacation. If I can get dispensation to play next friday, it would be good, else I will forfeit round 3.

Gandalf vs Gandalf

Post by Sfan » Wed May 10, 2006 10:27 am

Jaded 1
Tegarend 0
Baduila 0
Logain 0
Beornd 0
Sauron the Great 0
Can't we make other pairings? There are lots of people who could step in. IIRC the Challenge Deck are constructed to play against each other but not against them selves.

That's not correct. Are you quoting round one results perhaps?

I don't know if it really matters much. The game will be different, but not necessarily unfair. That said, I'm of the sort that takes clashing fixed sets in sealed as an interesting fresh challenge too. ;)

Personally, I'm more worried about Bert's situation. Surely he wil not be forced to forfeit a round because the previous round ran days late - with which he had nothing to do?

Accch......I'm looking forward to it. This is what tourneys are all about. Should be a challenge ......... I mean the draft alone is going to be brutal

@ Wim:
You are right, I choose the wrong results.

@ all:
But  if they want to play, just go ahead!

Maybe Bert can play tonight?

Maybe I can, but I still have to pack for tomorrow... I cant guarantee on it. Since this round lasted 10 days, why not make the next round last 10 days too, till sunday 21th. That would give us enough time to catch up.

OK, if you can't play tonight, just get the game in by the 21st.  No problem.  :D

In this third round the D2 Radagast deck found a deck it could beat at last: the Adûnaphel deck. :P

My game yesterday night Hoarmurath vs Uvatha lasted over 3,5 hours and we ended 15:10. This was TOO long. Maybe we can limit the time to 2 hours.

Probably best just to avoid Beornd as an opponent ;) (No offence!)

Sly Southerner (Adrian) has dropped out of the tournament due to lack of time.  I'm going to award his opponent a 6-TP bye.  The further question is: how should we deal with the 4th round, now that only 15 players are available?  I'm willing to take Adrian's spot, but that's probably not fair to his would-be opponent, so here's what I propose: Adrian's would-be 4th-round opponent will receive a 5-TP bye, and will be invited to play me as well, just for fun, so that he doesn't feel left out.

Sound fair?
