All results of all MECCG championships on one homepage

Post by Shapeshifter » Wed Jun 27, 2007 8:13 pm

I’m planning a homepage which shows all results of all official MECCG championships (Worlds, European and Nationals) since 1996. I will display the rankings 1 to 4 only with name, nationality, points (semifinals/finals) and alignment.

For this I’m still missing lots of results. If you can help out with some or if you don’t want your name to be displayed please mail to fallen (dot) gandalf (at) gmx (dot) net.

Any information will be helpful! Thanks a lot!

Please feel free to comment on my plans for this homepage.

O.k. here is what I’m missing (sorry, but this list is rather large):

Worlds
2004 Atlanta, USA
- points made by players (semifinals and finals)

2001 Montreal, Canada
- points made by players in the semifinals

2000 Amsterdam, The Netherlands
- points made by players (semifinals and finals)

1998 Paris, France
- points made by players in the semifinals
- alignments

1996 Oxford, UK
- points made by players (semifinals and finals)
- alignments (rank 2 to 4)

European championship
2004 Schaffhausen, Switzerland
- alignments

2002 Praque, Czech Republic
- points made by players

2001 Eindhoven, The Netherlands
- points for finals (was there a final round, anyway?)
- alignments

2000 (was there an EC ?)
- everything!

1999  (was there an EC?)
- everything!

1998 Paris, France
- points
- alignments

1997 Barcelona, Spain
- alignments rank 2 to 4

1996 Turnhout, Belgium
- rank 2 to 4 (name, nationality)
- points
- alignments

German Nationals
2004
- everything! (have there been nationals?)

2003 Munich
- points
- alignments for ranks 1 and 4

2002 Bonn
- rank 4
- points
- alignments

2001 Hamburg
- alignments

2000 Hamburg
- alignments

1998 Cologne
- points
- alignments rank 3 and 4

1997 Essen
- points
- alignments rank 3 to 4

1996 Essen
- rank 3 and 4
- points

edit: For all other Nationals please check my webpage (http://www.fallen-gandalf.net).

Karsten

Darksatin pointed out to me in a PM that you can use the wayback machine from Google to check old results.  For instance: http://web.archive.org/web/200404050453 ... ne.net.tf/

Yes, this wayback machine seems to be really nice.  :D
I'll try to retrieve some more old pages.

I just realized that this topic has very few hits. Maybe it´s because of this forum being partly private (sorry, I forgot about that when posting this topic   ). Could somebody move this thread to the events forum, please? I think it would fit in there, too.

Have you considered the possibility of posting the results of the online tournaments as well? (Nations Cup and MECCG world championship)

Should be (used standard CoL rules to resolve ties).
